Getting involved is one of the most important things you can do when you are in college. Involvement in an organization, allows you to have a deeper sense of belonging which is needed now more than ever. We believe that joining a fraternity is one of the best ways to get involved here at UK. Taking this step can lead to lifelong friendships, rewarding service opportunities, social interactions, career development, and priceless leadership skills, the list goes on and on. We encourage you to sign up for IFC Recruitment because joining a fraternity provides you with a support system and family that will not only have your back, but hold you accountable and push you towards success during your time as an undergrad here at UK and beyond.
It is our goal for every eligible student at the University of Kentucky to find an organization that helps them grow and develop, become a leader and ultimately become a better person overall. Why Join an IFC Fraternity?
Belonging & Brotherhood
“Belonging to a fraternity shows you how the real world works. There will be short and long term goals which you will tackle as a collective, and knowing how to belong to a group and placing yourself where you feel most comfortable is key. Fraternity life has taught me more than I can explain with words.”
Owen Neumayer, Sigma Nu
“The sense of brotherhood and community within the fraternity community is the supreme reason why fraternities exist. The men you choose to surround yourself with will continue to push you to excellence for the rest of your life.”
Lee Owen, Alpha Gamma Rho
Commitment & Success
“A community of Brothers cultivates success like nothing else I have ever been a part of. Having Brothers at your back cheering on motivates you to succeed in all things.”
Luke Karem, Chi Psi
