What is IFC 101?
IFC 101 is a 60-75 minute required program for all potential new members interested in joining the IFC community. In this program participants will learn about specific information regarding the Interfraternity Council, their executive board and what they do to support the IFC experience at UK including a review of IFC recruitment and the IFC community expectations. This program will also begin to answer the question of “What Does It Mean to be a (Fraternity) Man”.
Purpose of IFC 101
IFC 101 was purposefully chosen to occur during the recruitment process for 2 specific reasons: to educate the potential new member about the recruitment process and to begin conveying the values of a fraternity man. The goal is to clearly convey our expectations & goals to the community BEFORE they join, so we can continue to help build better men throughout the four years they spend with us, encouraging them to grow in the pursuit of Academics, Development, Involvement, Community and Health & Wellbeing,
